Author: I have his full name, his drivers’ license number, his home address (rental) and his cell phone number (pay as you go). I have searched everywhere I can find on the internet with no results. He was an independent when he took my advance and now works for a contractor and says he can’t do outside jobs any longer and doesn’t have my advance to give back. OUCH.
You won’t be able to track down the 8,000 contractors in your state. But you can try at the Registrar of Contractors. Also contact the District Attorney. She acts as your attorney when you have been defrauded..
